I try to get the levels high but definitely avoid clipping. You ...It has many options for importing .wav files. You need to import into the stereo mode and then move it into the 4ch folder. Then you have to look for File withing the track you are recording and import the wave file into that track. The wav file has to be renamed to 3 chatacters and has to be CD quality.
